Peggy J. Richard is an associate at Duffee + Eitzen. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a family law paralegal for 12 years with the last 5 of those years at Duffee + Eitzen. During her time as a paralegal at Duffee + Eitzen, Peggy assisted with cases involving a wide array of family law matters, including divorce, custody, protective orders, enforcement of custody and property division orders, grandparents’ rights, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. Peggy has spent countless hours preparing for and assisting in trials, depositions, and mediations and understands the hard work that goes into protecting her clients’ rights.
Peggy attended law school at the University of Oregon School of Law where she was a director of the Child and Family Law Association and a volunteer at the Domestic Violence Clinic. Upon graduating law school, Peggy became licensed in Oregon and practiced creditors’ rights for over two years, including landlord and tenant law, bankruptcy, collections, and civil litigation. Peggy is excited about her return to practicing family law and assisting families through complicated legal matters.
